Bethlehem Kudumba Unit has completed a sensational four-week run at the box office, emerging as the biggest industry hit in Mollywood history. In four weeks, the film has collected ₹313 Cr gross worldwide, with ₹144 Cr coming from Kerala alone.
Kerala’s First-Ever 150 Cr Grosser
With the Kerala gross now at ₹144 Cr, the film is a sure shot to become Kerala’s first-ever 150 Cr grosser , a milestone no film has touched within its home state before.
Falling Just Short of 350 Cr
There were expectations that the film could breach ₹350 Cr worldwide once its dubbed Telugu and Tamil versions released. However, the dub versions haven’t delivered the numbers anticipated, and with the film now needing ₹37 Cr more to reach that mark, ₹350 Cr looks practically out of reach at this stage. Bethlehem Kudumba Unit is likely to finish in the ₹335 Cr range.
Rewriting the Record Books
The film has comfortably broken two major Mollywood benchmarks. The previous industry-hit record for a Malayalam film worldwide belonged to Lokah, at 300 Cr+, while Vaazha 2 held the Kerala record at ₹130 Cr. Bethlehem Kudumba Unit has already surpassed both and is now building a comfortable margin over each — a sensational, all-time blockbuster for Mollywood.
